Welcome to the 2012 Pittwater & Coffs Harbour Regatta, incorporating the 31st Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Ocean Race and the inaugural Australian Performance Handicap (PHS) Championship.

Entry Requirements for the Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Ocean Race

Full details are published in the Notice of Race

  • Verification of stability (YA SR Appendix B & NoR Appendix B);
  • Verification of construction as per YA SR Part 1, Section 3.03.1 & 3.03.2 & NoR Appendix C;
  • Current Yachting Australia Special Regulations Equipment Compliance Form for Category 1 or 2 events signed and dated by an accredited auditor;
  • Life Raft Inspection Certificate(s);
  • Insurance Policy including AUS10m Liability & race coverage of 226nm
  • Radio Inspection Certificates (NoR Appendix D);
  • 406 MHz EPIRB Registration Certificate in the boats name; (refer to YA SR 4.18.5)
  • Class, Measurement and Rating Certificates, as required (NoR 3.3 & 3.4);
  • Colour photograph of the boat under sail, suitable for search and rescue purposes. This may be a digital photograph of a size not less than 6cm by 6cm with a resolution not less than 300DPI;
  • A brief history of the boat for publicity purposes; (via entry form);
  • 'Crew list' on the form supplied by the Organising Authority (refer NoR 4)(via Entry form);
  • 'Declaration of Crew Experience' on the form supplied by the Organising Authority (refer NoR 4.1)(via Entry Form);
  • Yachting Australia Safety and Sea Survival Course Certificates (NoR 4.1);
  • At least two Senior First Aid Certificates (NoR 4.1);
  • At least two Marine Radio Operator's VHF & HF Certificate of Proficiency (MROCP) or an equivalent or higher qualification (NoR 4.1);
  • A completed online electronic Entry Form , Declaration and Indemnity, plus the additional items specified above, must be received by the Organising Authority no later than 1700hrs on 2 December 2011.

Casual Entries for the Coffs Harbour Offshore Regatta

Boats entering the Solitary Islands Races only must attach the following items:

  • Current Category 4 (Category 3 for Shorthanded division) Special Regulations Equipment Compliance Form signed and dated by an YNSW accredited auditor;
  • Class, Measurement and Rating Certificates, as required (NoR 3.3 & 3.4);
  • For the Coffs Harbour Offshore Regatta a completed Entry Form and Declaration and Indemnity plus the additional items specified above, must be received by the Organising Authority at the regatta office by 0900hrs on 5 January 2012.
